Giving Water & Removing Tattoos

This Sunday the Delete team is headed out to sponsor one of the water stops along the 5K race route for the 19th annual Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in downtown Phoenix.

This year the race’s theme is ‘Step Up and Deliver Our Promise,’ a reminder to participants that the race is much more than a one-day event ? a sentiment we definitely share.

Breast cancer is a condition that affects the lives of millions of families across the world. According to the Susan G.Komen foundation, in 2011, it is estimated that 230,480 new cases of invasive breast cancer will be detected in women alone in the United States. Perhaps even more staggering, the American Cancer Society has estimated that 39,520 women of the U.S. will lose the battle against breast cancer by the end of the same year. Here at Delete, we’re working to support the fight against breast cancer and show our support to survivors as much as possible.breast cancer radiation tattoos

That’s why with our ?All Clear? program, we offer breast cancer survivors free radiation tattoo removal. Many breast cancer patients are given tattoos to mark spots for more precise administration of radiation throughout their course of treatment. We believe they deserve to rid themselves of these daily reminders, and we’re thrilled to offer free removal services to help them do so.

We hope to see you out there at the race on Sunday. Waters are on us if you get thirsty along the way!
